The crew at Billabong picked up an image of mine recently of their girl-of the-moment Paige Hareb from New Zealand. Currently competing in her first year on the WCT she's sitting at #3 in the world - not a bad effort. I was blown away when I witnessed her surfing last year. Style and grace mixed with a touch of aggression, which are not attributes commonly associated with many of the top women on the circuit in my opinion! But for Paige, I think she breathes some much needed fresh air into women's surfing at a time when it was starting to get very stale. Her resume' should have World Champ stamped on it, more sooner than later...
